Ken Bragg- I am not familiar with the pillars or peers support program but am very interested in it. I am however very aware of Mark Rosenberg and his efforts to lead the way for many ,many mental health consumers.
I would like more information and will be checking out this program.
We must remeber that Peer support is the hightest form of recovery and saves the Government larger sums of money in several ways. I wonder if anyone has ever compaired the cost of respate care and peer support a week stay in a psyic ward?
Thank you Mark for all you have done and your constant service to the mental health consumers of Maine .

I recently graduated from the University of Maine at Augusta with a bachelor's degree in mental health and human services. It had always been my hope that i would be able to use my degree to aid my peers in recovery. When I was offered a position in case management last year I jumped at the opportunity. I didn't realize I was heading in the wrong direction. I support recovery, and feel strongly that the community mental health system currently does not support recovery in a way that enspires people to recover. In that I have decided that what I want to do is to support peers working in recovery provided services that inspire others to recover. I highly support the Cater Center's Pillars of Peer Support.
