The goal of this training is to provide peer supporters — both male and female — with the understanding, tools, and resources needed to engage in culturally responsive, trauma-informed peer support relationships with women.

One Day Training Being Offered on Two Separate Days
At Club Calumet, Augusta, October 21 & 22, 2015
9:30 – 4:30

As space is limited, preference is given to:

  1. 1) Peer Support Specialists currently working in the field.
  2. 2) Peer Support Specialist, certified and seeking work.
  3. 3) Graduates of the CIP program seeking certification

Training will count as a CEU for the CIPS program.

There will be additional opportunities to attend a Trauma-Informed Peer Support Training in the coming year.
