Maine SILC Announces 2016 Community Forums

The Maine Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) will be hosting Community Forums to gether input for their 2017-2019 State Plan.

If you are a person with a disability living in Maine, you are welcome to participate!

Forum input will inform their State Plan for Independent Living (Maine SPIL). Each forum will last about two hours.

Your feedback is needed! What is working for you as far as living, working, going to school, recreating? Are you living as independently as you want? Are you able to participate in your community? Do you have the supports and services you need? What could be better?!

If you require accommodations, contact Mike McClellan, Maine SILC Executive Director. He can be reached at 207-329-6148, or email Maine SILC at mmcclell@maine.rr.com. Please allow two weeks before the date of the event, if you require interpreting services.
