We are asking peer/consumer artists to submit artwork for the cover of the 2017 HOPE Conference brochure that represents the theme; “Strive to Thrive; Not Just Survive.”. It can be any medium, but must be able to be put into an electronic document such as a picture or pdf file.

Please note that the Biddeford Local Council Meeting scheduled for November 26th has been cancelled for this month.
The December meeting will be held on December 17, 2014 from 1:30 – 3:30 PM.
Starting in January, meetings will continue on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 1:30-3:30 PM.
All meetings are at the McArthur Public Library, 270 Main Street, Biddeford.

The Maine Disability Rights Center (DRC), a collaborating organization of the Consumer Council System of Maine, is looking for your feedback so they can improve services and meet their mission! The Disability Rights Center (DRC) is continually seeking both improved services and increased awareness among Maine citizens of what we do and how we might be of service. We are asking today, for you to fill out a brief survey about DRC which will help us make decisions about what we do and how we do it!
The Consumer Council System of Maine is joining NAMI ME at the 2014 l NAMI Walk. The event will be held on Sunday, September 21st, 2014 from 9 AM-12 PM at Southern Maine Community College in South Portland!
Join our team and help us raise awareness about mental health and support NAMI MAINE! We walk in honor of all our peers and to help us remember the importance of our work to gather feedback and guide, advise and assist the State of Maine to implement recovery-oriented and effective mental health services that work! We use our voices each day to raise awareness and to encourage the inclusion of our peers in creating a mental health system that works for us!
