CALL TO ACTION!!

INDIVIDUALS NEEDED TO TESTIFY ON THE STATE BIENNIAL BUDGET- MENTAL HEALTH SECTION

WHEN:  Friday, February 24, 2017

TIME:  10 AM

LOCATION: State House Appropriations Committee Room 228

Your Voice Needs To Be Heard!!

We have been informed that next Friday February 24th,  the Committees of Appropriations and Health and Human Services will be hearing public testimony on mental health as well as some other services.

This is our time to weigh in on the proposed budget!!

The hearings will start at 10am in the State House Appropriations Committee Room 228.

It could be a very long day, so you need  to be prepared for this. If you are going to be coming to the hearings and want to write testimony, here are the CCSM’s talking points for this hearing in particular. Remember, you can speak for 3 minutes but your written can be as long as you want. You will need to bring 35 copies since it is two committees. On long days like this it is very possible that there will be a sign in sheet and they will take names in order of the sign in sheet.

If you have any questions or need assistance with testimony contact the CCSM office at 207.430.8300
